One of the best feelings in the known universe is truly getting to know another person. People intrigue me to no end. We're so complex and have so many memories and stories and relationships. I love learning about someone elses experiences.
I love when it all happens organically. When you talk about your day and personal things slip through. Because, like the weird super-human I am, I remember everything. And then I make a catalogue in my head about that person and it fills up when I learn a new thing and it may be very creepy, but I can't really help it.
I don't do this for everyone I meet because I don't like knowing everyone I meet. And I want them to get to know me too. There needs to be a mutual willingness to learn and share, but not in a corny way. I look at getting to know someone like when you introduce a character in a book or movie. You can't just dump facts about them, but everything will present itself in due time.
And you have to be yourself. I make a fool of myself many times in a day, but I think people really like that. If you're being yourself, they will be themselves and everything will be magic.
And you'll know far too much about an Asian named Tina, have a good cop/bad cop persona, have a plan to become millionaires from a guide to get your dog to love you (copyrighted), and embrace being a teenage old lady.
I love meeting new people.

Insight for the foolish
Everyone has their little quirks. Everyone does little things that everyone may not notice, or that they don't show to anyone. Every single person is fucking insane, but we're too afraid to let others in on it. We're so afraid to let people see the weird things we do behind closed doors.
Truth is, it's so easy to fall in love with someone. It's so easy to fall in love with the little things they do. It's so easy to look at someone and think, "I love when you do that." It's so simple to find little quirks about a person that you love, if they let you.
If you were able to follow someone home and watch them sing along to their favourite song, and watch them play with their dog, and watch them smile when they text, and watch them get frustrated at the news, and watch them interact with people that have nothing to do with you, you could so easily fall in love.
This could be that person that doesn't say anything in class, or that other person that smokes by the street, or that other person that eats lunch alone. We're so consumed in being liked, instead of being loved. We're consumed in our own lives, instead of realizing there are others out there.
In the end, we all want someone that you can show your weird quirks to. We want someone who won't judge us for what we do behind closed doors. We want someone to love us. If you're looking for love, let people see who you are. Allow them to fall in love with you one piece at a time like you will fall in love with them. Open your eyes and notice everything about them. Observe.
And then you'll realize you don't just love the way they smile to themselves, you love them.

Perspective
Have you ever thought about how you're the only one in your head? You're the only one reading this post from where you are at this very moment? I'm the only one coming up with these words to type out for this blog. We are all inside our own heads and the person next to you will forever be a mystery.
I often think about this. Maybe too often. I think about it when I'm walking or in car and I pass by someone I've never seen before. I think about how small I am because all these people are going to their destination. They have their plan set and are putting it into motion. What is their plan though? Who are they? Where are they going? Do they wonder who I am? Will I ever see this person again?
As I am looking at this strangers face, what are they seeing? Our eyes see two completely different things at the same time. They are thinking thinking about something I can't even think of because we're different. They know different things then me. They're brains don't work the same. What they're doing or thinking of could actually matter. It could change something. It could be important.
Have you ever thought about how your problems are that of one person? There are so many people doing their own thing, fighting their own battles, living their own dreams, and here you are. Do you matter? Of course you matter. You matter to yourself and to the people around you and to me.
It's just that unknowing. It always comes back to the unknowing. The things that we will never know. What are they thinking? What are they doing at this very moment? How are they living? What are they doing? I remember when I was little and I often thought about what celebrities were doing, particularly Sporty Spice. My imagination went as far as playing soccer, I'm sure I was close... I just like to know and wonder.
I love observing people. Seeing them laugh at something I can't hear or make a face or any sort of reaction because it's probably a reaction I will never understand because I am not them. Let's create a scenario: I start talking about tacos to someone I do not know very well. Their face crinkles up in slight disgust. I notice, but do not say anything. Little do I know it's because she ate tacos last week with her boyfriend and he got food poisoning and barfed taco chunks on her favourite shirt.
The word taco triggered her memory. But if you said taco to me, I would just think of eating tacos at my house, which is quite wonderful. Everyone is different. Everyone is going to have a different thought process and reaction and you will never understand. You'll just sit there thinking, "Why did I tell that stupid taco story? She obviously thought it was stupid because of that look on her face." But no one knows what people are thinking. No one except them
This blog was kind of everywhere. This is what you should have learned: You're forever your own person, you will never know everything, you matter, people are different than you, tacos are good and bad.

When I post a status update on Facebook, it can't just be a normal one like, "goin 2 skool text da cell!!11!!" Frankly, statuses like that make me want to vomit grammar all over my computer screen. I do not understand it. It's Wednesday at 8am, I sure hope you're going to school, also, what else would we text? Your ass? Was that little bit necessary? If someone was like, "Oh God, where can I find Candy and how can I get a hold of her?" I don't think there would be a lot of confusion if it just said, "text me!!11!!"
Facebook is a great way to see someones competence even if you've never talked to them. Just by a quick glance at their profile, we can see many things. Let's talk about a few.
Profile Picture
Is it even a picture of them? Are they fully clothed? Are they making a kissy face that makes you want to kill yourself? All these questions will soon be answered. You can read the comments to see if people agree with your distaste, but do not get your hopes up.
Relationship Status
Are they in an actual relationship, married to one of their friends, married to a celebrity, or nothing at all? This will give you insight if they're single, crazy, spontaneous. Also what their standards are. (If they're married to a celebrity, then you know that you have to be as cool as said celebrity and maybe that's why they don't have a real boyfriend.... ha ha...)
Number of Friends
This can be from unrealistic to desperate. Does someone with 2 000 friends add every single person they see, or are they just so likable that everyone adds them? Personally, I have no idea. If you are reading this blog, you probably have no idea too. And if you do, you should probably find a cooler blog to read. Someone with 30 friends is kind of creepy. You're 1 of 30. They are forced to read every single thing you do because there isn't much more to read.
Wall posts
Does one person only write on their wall? Are there many people? Are they all different? Do the same five people constantly write on their wall? Are they wheeling and dealing? (Is that what the kids say?) What is the grammar like on their wall? Do you want to shoot yourself in the face just because of an extensive period of time spent here? If you are feeling suicidal, please close Facebook and go on something more tasteful, like this blog.
Status Updates
These can easily make or break a person. What is an appropriate Facebook status? We all have our own opinion, whether it be what you are doing every five minutes, something funny that just happened, a song lyric of a song you don't know, stating the weather because other people don't have windows too, or my favourite, witty remarks. When someones wall is filled with status updates and nothing else, they either live a very exciting life, or have no life at all. A Facebook status should either be some cool update about someones life or just something fun to read. Everyone is reading it, might as well make it interesting. People need to realized that not one person cares that you're, "fucking pissed," every afternoon. Not one person.
Facebook is a horrible place filled with horrible people who don't understand when they post that picture of themselves smoking a bong, (do you 'smoke' a bong?) it's on the internet.
I have the same profile picture since August, I update my status less then weekly, I do not care much for Facebook. I know people do though, and that's okay, but some people are just really stupid. Just know that what you post on Facebook is perceived differently by everyone. Don't be stupid.
